Meet Katie

In 2005, Katie Scott launched her interior design business with a focus on designing from an emotional point of view. By embracing her clients core individualities, she began designing homes to enhance desires that ignited their soul. Within three years, she was featured as one of the nations top ten designers on the rise by domino magazine. When domino interviewed Katie for the article they asked her where she received her training, and it was her honest answer that received the greatest attention from readers, “It is a gift from God.” The interest from domino readers asking Katie for help in discovering their natural gifts created a shift in her career, and she quickly recognized people were actually seeking fulfillment, not just an “interior designer.” This spark ignited an evolution in her spiritual life which is documented in her book, Let it Be. The awakening and deepening of her faith then drove her desire to wear more meaningful and significant jewelry. When she could not find fashion-forward jewelry that was spiritual, she recognized a gap in the market and became motivated to unite modern style with inner spirituality through her designs. In 2013, she introduced her fine jewelry line which is an expression of this style.

Katie’s vision has always expanded beyond jewelry, and into a lifestyle brand. In the fall of 2017, Katie diversified her product offerings with introductions into apparel, apothecary and accessories that are premium in quality, but priced at fair market value. To date, dozens of publications have featured Katie Scott’s interior design work, home décor and jewelry: domino, Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Interiors, Country French, Southern Living, New York Post, WWD, Luxe and many more. Katie was also voted as one of the nations top ten designers on the rise by domino magazine, won best in residential design through the Papercity Excellence in Design Awards which was judged by some of the most elite designers in the world, is a two time Luxe Goldlist member, and was a finalist in the category of fine jewelry for The Rising Star Award hosted by New York’s Fashion Group International. Katie is also a guest speaker for professional engagements on the subject of infusing spirituality in design for organizations such as the Architectural Digest Home Show, Luxury Interactive conference, Southern Style Now design event, Luxe Magazine, Fashion Group International, John Daugherty Realtors, Stewart Title, Archdiocese of New Orleans / The Cenacle and the Houston Tanglewood Garden Club amongst many other privately held groups.
